Hepatitis can be caused by various diseases, including viral infections. Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B are two of the four parameters of Transmissible Infections Through Blood Transfusion (IMLTD) which until now have been used as a reference for screening tests for IMLTD at PMI UDD. Several methods that can be used for the IMLTD screening test include the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Chemiluminescence Immuno Assay (ChLIA), and Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAT). ELISA is the gold standard for IMLTD examination, especially Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B. In addition, ELISA has a specificity of 98% in the IMLTD screening test. This study aims to determine the results of Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B examinations using the ELISA method for students from batch 2021 of the TBD STIKes Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta Study Program. This type of research is experimental using a cross sectional study design. A total of 2 blood samples were obtained by taking the cubital vein. The results of the examination using the ELISA method can be seen by calculating the absorption value, cut-off value, and negative control value. From the research conducted, it was obtained valid negative results with a value of <1. The absorption value of sample 1 is 0.5 and sample 2 is 0.57. Two samples had valid non-reactive results for HCV and HBsAg examinations. From these results, it can be concluded that the two respondents who were samples were eligible to donate blood at UDD PMI.
