ANALISIS SIGMA METRIC PADA PEMERIKSAAN TROMBOSIT MENGGUNAKAN HEMATOLOGY ANALYZER

Internal Quality Control is a preventive and supervisory activity carried out by the laboratory continuously and is useful in detecting so as to improve quality and guarantee inspection results. Platelet examination using a hematology analyzer can provide fast and precise results, but platelets that are easy to stick or clump will form smaller fragments so they are not counted as platelets. This study aims to determine the internal quality control of the analytic stage of the hematology analyzer on the examination of the platelet count based on Westgard and Six Sigma analysis. This research method is descriptive. The sample in this study is the data on the value of the platelet count for 16 days. The data were analyzed using the Westgard and Six Sigma rules. Results Based on research on the Levey Jenning's chart normal level obtained deviations of 13S (random error) and 12S (warning). At a high rate of deviation 13S (random error). At normal and high levels, deviations of 22S (systematic error) and R4S (random error) were found. The sigma scale of the control level shows a scale above 6 for the examination of platelets indicating the quality of the laboratory word class.
